Crisis and Disaster Fund

People affected by natural disasters such as tsunamis, earthquakes, or volcanic eruptions, or manmade crises need comfort, hope, and strength. Their circumstances often open their hearts, minds, and spirits to the Good News of Jesus Christ.

IBS-STL, together with ministry allies, responds with hope and salvation for crisis survivors.

When disaster strikes, IBS-STL staff members contact ministry partners and local churches to gain information about the disaster and its effects on people—particularly their spiritual needs. We provide training as needed and deliver Scripture materials to help crisis survivors and first responders.

Scriptures include HIV & Life Positive for those affected by HIV/AIDS; Rebuilding Life and Where Do I Go From Here? for prisoners; and When Your Whole World Changes, The Survivors, Building the Mosaic, A Time for Everything, Looking Up, Beside Quiet Waters, full Bibles, and New Testaments for disaster survivors.

For as little as $2.50 you can provide a New Testament to one person needing the hope of God’s Word. A gift of $50 will provide New Testaments to 20 people, and a gift of $100 will provide New Testaments to 40 people.
